Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga focuses on posture and breathing techniques to channel vital energy. In Sanskrit, “Hatha” translates to "force." Classes typically last 60 minutes and include breathing exercises, yoga poses, and meditation to train the breath, body, and mind.
Yin Yang
This style of yoga combines the practices of Yin and Yang. Yin yoga emphasizes calming the mind and working on joints before the muscles are warm, while Yang yoga is a more traditional Hatha and Ashtanga-based asana practice that develops muscular strength, stamina, and flexibility.
Starting with either style of yoga can have a powerful effect on your energy levels and overall well-being after class. Our Yin Yang yoga will alternate between the two styles to help rejuvenate both mind and body.
